Dear Tammy, Wendy, and Heather:
My brother, Ray, and I thank you for your understanding about our decision to keep our mother at her current community since she has been certified by Hospice yesterday after her doctor ordered it Monday afternoon. She rapidly showed severe pain from bone deterioration, disorientation, lack of appetite, and decreased mobility from last week and it continues with some relief late yesterday after medical and Rx intervention by Hospice.
We recommend Callahan Village to anyone based on the most hospitable reception and excellent service experienced by our Mom. She was impressed with Callahan Village and was looking forward to moving there.
Thanks!
Bill M.
Dear Tammy and Team,
I wanted to send you a note to express my heartfelt appreciation to you and your staff.
Mom's decision to move to Callahan Village 12 years ago was to be closer to some of her friends. Those few friends did not last very long but suddenly she had so many friends we could not keep track of them all.
Over the years, and especially at the end, your staff were the most loving and caring folks I have ever experienced outside my own family. I would love to call out a few by name but there is NO WAY I could ever do that without missing someone very important to Mom. You know who you are. There was not a single person that came through the door that it was obvious they loved her as her own.
I cannot type THANK YOU enough times on this keyboard to express my family's gratitude and love to each and every one of you.
Please share with Lila, Mom's med aids and caregivers. Every single one of them deserves recognition.
